The Challenge
For too long, workers in Lesotho have faced discrimination, unsafe conditions, and limited protections. Domestic workers, farmworkers, and others in vulnerable positions have been denied basic rights that should be guaranteed to all.
Our Solution
The CYED is committed to full rights for all workers in both public and private sectors, including domestic and farmworkers, to organize, bargain collectively and be represented by trade unions.
Implementation
The democratic government will work with trade unions, workers, and employers to implement comprehensive labor protections. We will strengthen existing laws and introduce new legislation where needed to ensure every worker in Lesotho has the rights they deserve.
